What Is A Marriage
Encounter? Marriage Encounter is an opportunity for married couples to pause
briefly and to sincerely consider the most important area of their lives -
their marriage. Marriage Encounter is a weekend away from home and the distractions
and tensions of everyday life. It is a time to become reacquainted and to
learn or re-learn how to talk and listen to each other. The emphasis of the
Marriage Encounter is on communication between husband and wife - a
communication that is a dialog with the person who means more than any other.
There is no group discussion or group dynamic. Rather, the Marriage Encounter
encourages a sensitive awareness to develop within each individual couple. |
