Madison National Marriage Encounter weekends are non-denominational, all faiths are welcome.

The weekends begin on Saturday morning and run through Sunday afternoon. For registration details and to receive a registration form via postal mail, please e-mail or call Lisa Friar at 608-375-5074.

About Accommodations and Food

Lodging and meals are included with your weekend when held at Bishop O’Connor Center, Durwards Glen or other locations that have onsite sleeping accommodations.

Meals are included with your weekend when held at a local church. These parish weekends allow you to go your own home to sleep Saturday night.

Marriage Encounter weekends always have lots of snacks and treats... usually these are homemade goodies made by your presenting team or other previously encountered couples. We may ask you to bring your own beverages or something that YOU like to eat.

About Money

A $100 donation is needed to confirm your registration.

The registration is non-refundable, but can be applied to any weekend at any future date, in the event your weekend is cancelled or you must cancel for some reason. At the end of the weekend, you'll be asked to make a free-will donation based on the actual cost of the weekend. However, no couple is expected to pay more than they feel the weekend is worth or can afford.

Note: If you have a financial hardship of any kind let us know and we will work with you.

A minimum of four couples must be registered for the weekend to be held. Your deposit will be refunded, or applied to a future weekend, if Madison National Marriage Encounter must cancel the weekend because of low enrollment.

Madison National Marriage Encounter is a 501(C)3 non-profit corporation and all donations are tax deductible
